Dante Alighieri, born 1265, Florence, Italy, was a great poet of the middle ages. Dante fought with the Guelph cavalry, 1289 at the Battle Of Campaldino. The Florentine constitution reformation was then brought worth. Dante later entered a guild of physicians. Gemma and Dante soon had several children. Their children where, Jacopo, Pietro, Giovanni, and Antonia. Dante wrote the Inferno, which is about going to hell and back. In The Inferno, Dante writes about the journey through Hell(Inferno), Purgatory(Purgatorio), and Paradise(Paradiso).
